Position Description: Experience in the following preferred:

• Provide guidance to OHNs regarding medical conditions affecting corporate employees;
• Develop and maintain key protocols, standard operating procedures, and guidelines to maintain Legal and Regulatory compliance and deliver quality services.
• Oversee, and intervene with OHNs on case management.
• Assist and/or perform physicals for all periodic and surveillance exams, such as DOT, UKOG, US Coast Guard etc. standards.
• Work closely with Board Certified Occupational Medical Physician . Interface with HR, and Legal regarding ongoing matters concerning employees
• Possess and maintain updated knowledge of International Travel Medicine
• Perform Travel Health Assessments and administer necessary immunizations when necessary
• Case management of occupational/non-occupational illnesses/injuries
• High level of initiative and sound independent nursing judgment; analytical ability: problems may be complex; demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills; and interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
• Basic knowledge/comfort in computer systems (e.g. Excel, Windows, MS Word, Office) as they may relate to administrative and other related duties.
• Experience with surveillance program work - hearing, respiratory, and crane.
• Maintains an autonomous nursing practice focused on promotion, protection, and restoration of employee's health utilizing the standards of occupational health nursing.

Position Requirements:

• NP, licensed in Texas
• Two years experience in case management within the last 5 years.
• Two years experience in Occupational HealthCare in the last 5 years.
•  CPR/AED certified
•  5 years experience OHN and/or case management (certification preferred)
•  Must possess problem-solving skills
•  Certifications in Audiogram and Pulmonary Function Testing
